Update on Ceres

NASA/JPL-Caltech/UCLA/MPS/DLR/IDA

A few weeks ago, our blog question was about planet, Ceres. The NASA Dawn spacecraft is getting closer to the dwarf planet and it's producing a lot of puzzling pictures. See those bright spots? Scientists have no idea what they are yet. The spacecraft is currently 29,000 miles away, so we'll be getting better pictures as continues to move toward Ceres. You can read more about the mission and you can see more images here.
