The USS Arizona Memorial

On the morning of December 7, 1941, the Japanese military attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Seventy-three years later, Americans still remember the event that brought the United States into World War II. The memorial in the picture above is built on the USS Arizona, one of the many ships sunk during the attack.
