If all goes according to plan, NASA's newest
spacecraft will blast off from Cape Canaveral Thursday at 7:05 am. This launch of the new Orion Spacecraft is seen as a critical test in preparing for NASA's mission to Mars. It is possible to view the launch from Jacksonville assuming that the sky is perfectly clear. If you're unable to see it for yourself, check out your favorite news broadcast to watch NASA make history once again.
UPDATE: NASA had a lot of trouble getting Orion off the ground this morning. They'll try again tomorrow at 7:05 am.
